Clearly, it is the television that impedes the communication among family and friends. However, overstating the adverse effect on communication brought about is unfair. Actually, television has substantially improved the communication among friends and family, even strengthens the family bond. To begin with, watching television provides an excellent platform for family members or friends to enjoy a nice time and communication together. Imaging that family members sit on the sofa together watching TV-The Big Bang, what a sweet scene! It's inevitable that people will have some discussion about the TV plays. Also, watching popular TV series offer a common concerned matter to discuss and is an opportunity to communicate. I still remember the time when "Prison Break" was popular in China, My friends, my parents, even my grandparents are attracted by this TV series. Then the fate of Michael has been drawing greatest attention from us and we discuss this topic never feeling boring. For these, how can you assume that televising has negative effect on communication among family and friends? Therefore, it is the people themselves rather than television that plays a major role in communication among family and friends. As long as we reasonable use of television, we will have a better future!
