nowadays, a large mojority of students don't care about the importance of spelling in english study. there are many reasons cause this situation. following is some of it. first, i think the eletronic machines make them not need to remeber many words for they can look up it in eletronic dictionary. it's so convenient that they aren't willing to memory the vocabularies. they consider it's not neccesary to do that. second, there are not many efficiant way to check the students remeber how many words , they just look some words to deal with the exams. and teachers don't ask them write words often, just read it and look what it is like. in order to solve this problem ,we can force them to write the words and check it more often. and ask students to use dictionary to look up the words to make them remeber it deeply.
