There is a growing tendency nowadays that parents send their children to attend various kinds of art classes.Such as dancing,musical instruments,and calligraphy training and so on.Does anyone have the same attitude towards this phenomenon?Definitely not,as to this is issue,opinions vary from person to person. Some parents claim that it is beneficial for their children.Initially,they are convinced that the earlier the children are exposed to arts,the more likely it is to tap their artistic potential.Moreover,the kids can make better use of their leisure time to master more skills and be prepared for the future fierce competition.There are some parents who hold the contrary opinions.On the one hand,children spend a large amount of time in art class,they can not set aside time to stay together with their parents and share their feelings.On the other hand,it will impose heavier burden on them,which is detrimental to kids growth both physically and mentally. To my way of thinking,the merits of attending the art classes outweigh its demerits.For one thing,since the children spend most of time in watching TV,playing video games after classes.Instead,they can make better use of time through attending art classes. For another,children can be more versatile,which will be invaluable in the opening up future opportunities.As the mentioned above,I strongly recommended that parents send their kids to attend the art classes.
