In China, university rank has gained great popularity among Chinese people. However, it has caused much controversy. Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern, we find that some people hold the idea of that university rank is good meanwhile others prefer that university rank is bad. From my own perspective, it is more adivisable to chose that university rank is good rather than that university rank is bad. My arguments for this point are listed as follows. The main reason for my propensity for that university rank is good is that people can learn the academic strenghts of universities easily. For instance, if there is a university rank, it is convenient for students choose universities when they graduated form high school. The argument I support in the first paragraph is also in a position of advantage because university rank can urge students to build their campus hardly. In summary, I think university is good because people can know the academic powers of universities and prompt students to develop their schools. So, it is sagacious to support the statement that it is better to have a university rank.
