Nowadays,there is no denying that we are surrounded by a sea of books.As a consequence,the community recently had a heated discussion on whether we should read selectively or extensively.Opinions differ on this issue. On the one hand,some believe that we should read selectively for the reason that we don't have too much energy and there are also so many books with an increasing number.On the other hand,others hold an idea that it is reading extensively that immensely broaden our horizon.What's more，the quality of books is so ragged that sometimes it is difficult to make a decision on selecting books. When it comes to my perspectives,I consider deeply that it is pretty essential for us to read widely since reading can be of great benefit on improving our knowledge,but that will also just be theoretical.Consequently,reading selectively is more proper.Last but not least,what we should realize is that the quality of books counts more than quantity.
