In today’s world, computer technology is developing at an amazingly fast pace. A great mass of men have their own computer or have access to computer. Computers are widespread all over the world. People use computers to do a lot of things—playing computer games, searching information they want, chatting with others online, watching films, listening to music, etc. It seems that computers have brought plenty of benefits to men. However, the trouble it brought to us is probably as much as the benefit. Although it is convenient to deliver information through computer, it is often difficult to discern the truth of information from a website. What’s more, so great is the dependence on computers, that people are becoming increasingly less minded because they obtain others’ thoughts direct from the internet. Besides, people, especially young people, spend their leisure time chatting on the internet. They are addicted to communication of this sort rather than talk with family or friends face to face. As time passes, there may be a gap in mind between them and their family members. How sad it is! In addition, there are still many traps on the internet. Once you are in an unguarded state, you will be deceived by them. I can’t resist concluding this article with several kernels of advice: don’t rely solely on computer or you will become unreflecting; think twice before using the information from the internet; spend more time with family instead of chatting on the internet; you should always be naturally cautious towards strangers.
