Some people argue that many significant achievements have been accomplished throughout the development of human race, but others do not think so. This article will discuss both of these opinions. There are several essential accomplishments that human has been done in the past thousands of years. First one is modern medical science. Until now, almost all the diseases occurred in people can be cured and the life expectancy has reached about 70 years old. Second is knowledge which accelerates the development of human being. Today people can find everything that they want to learn through the internet. All these things help human race to be stronger and clever than before. For example there are more than 200 days in 2013 when people cannot see the blue sky in Beijing. Another serious problem is energy crisis which was concerned by people in the 19th century. Due to the development of modern industry, the whole energy in the Earth will spoil out in several hundred years if there is no alternative energy to be found. Therefore, people should pay more attention to these troubles in order to obtain sustainable development. In conclusion, people have made large number of fantastic achievements to accelerate the development of human race such as modern medical science and knowledge. Although there are several severe problems accompanying the development, people should not be afraid of these because they will be overcome in the future by the improvement of human being. And this is the reason why human race can develop sustainably forever.
