With the accelerating development of economy and increasing pace of life, more and more people choose travelling to relieve their pressure. But there are some controversies about the destination. Some prefer to travel in their own country and claim that people benefit more from it. Others, however, argue against this opinion completely since they feel that it is more valuable to travel in foreign countries. But as for me, the two methods are equally important. Admittedly, there are several advantages of travelling in their own country. To begin with, travelling in own country is more convenient than travelling to foreign country. Tourists need not to prepare passport and private materials to apply visa, which is necessary for tourist to travel to foreign country. Sometimes, you may be refused due to personal reasons. Further, the cost of travelling in own country is less than travelling to foreign country. As we all know, travelling in own country is always the short journey, so tourist can drive a car, even drive a bike to enjoy a self-driving travel. Travelling to foreign county, however, sometimes you have to take a plane. Given the cost, a lot people choose to travel in own country. Finally, there is no substitute for some landscapes in our own country. For example, Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall, an patriotic education base in China, reminds people not to forget history. So, the benefits of travelling in own country cannot be overstated. However, emphasizing the advantages of travelling in own country doesn't mean travelling to foreign country is nothing. Actually, travelling to foreign is a good vehicle to enhance cross-cultural communication and expand our outlook. In Egypt, the pyramid brings tourists the sense of mystery and the great of ancestor; In China, the Great Wall show us the diligent of Chinese; In America, Yellowstone National Park makes us feel the magic of nature, and so on. In addition, experiencing different cultures teach us to respect the cultural difference, increase the exchange and clean up the misunderstanding. This is why so many people travel to foreign country. In conclusion, travelling in own country and to foreign country have each their advantages, the landscapes that we choose should depend on our aim, time and money.
