All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. Without something ”extra”, school courses amounts to unbearable toil and moil and everyday degrades to a miserable repetition of yesterday’s routine. The inevitable consequence is stifled imagination, staled thoughts and numbed senses, and we are doomed to become a group of bigoted scholars responsive only to impersonal dogmas. Extracurricular activities actually expose you to a world full of new experiences. You get to know people, visit places and develop skills. Through excursions and parties, social investigations or community work, you gradually are molded into a sociable extrovert receptive to new ideas with a wide prospective. In conclusion, extracurricular activities are an essential in that it ensures a more satisfying existence, both physically and mentally.
