Human activities do have a major influence on plants and animal species. Over all, I tend to agree with the view that effective measure can be taken to improve this situation. The main reason why I have positive attitudes towardsthis problem is that science and technology is developing during these years. For example, a car today can use less gasoline to drive a mile than in 1950s.Utilization results of energy is higher than before. As a result, we can use advanced technical method to meet our needs instead of logging. Adimittedly,the expanding human population requires more living space, and forests are always the first choice humans decide to sacrifice. Many animal species are ruthlessly hunted and have been driven to the brink of extinction. It seems that protecting animals is a difficult job. In spite of this, many people are trying their best to preserve natural habitats and protect endangered species. In conclusion, Iwould agree that effective measure can be taken to improve this situation.
