Task Direction:
You will have a choice between two Issue topics. Each topic will appear as a brief quotation that states or implies an issue of general interest. Read each topic carefully; then decide on which topic you could write a more effective and well-reasoned response.
You will have 45 minutes to plan and compose a response that presents your perspective on the topic you select. A response on any other topic will receive a zero. You are free to accept, reject, or qualify the claim made in the topic you selected, as long as the ideas you present are clearly relevant to the topic. Support your views with reasons and examples drawn from such areas as your reading, experience, observations, or academic studies.
GRE readers who are college and university faculty will read your response and evaluate its overall quality, based on how well you do the following
consider the complexities and implications of the issue
organize, develop, and express your ideas on the issue
support your ideas with relevant reasons and examples
control the elements of standard written English.
You may want to take a few minutes to think about the issue and to plan a response before you begin writing. Be sure to develop your ideas fully and organize them coherently, but leave time to reread what you have written and make any revisions that you think are necessary.

"At various times in the geological past, many species have become extinct as a result of natural, rather than human, processes. Thus, there is no justification for society to make extraordinary efforts, especially at a great cost in money and jobs, to save endangered species."

In recent years, more and more people are concered the problem of the species are extincted and to save endangered species. My opinion is the protection of endangered species to a certain extent, rather than spare no effort to save all species.The reasons are as follows. First of all, it is only to be eliminated that the Darwin`s theory of evolution point out do not adapt environment of the species. The law of survive of the fittest whether society or nature is very practical. For example, the extinction of dinosaurs is because dinosaurs are standing at the top of food chain in the Jurassic area. When the circumstance change, the dinosaurs is not good living that was only eliminated by nature. Next, all we can do is to protect the endangered species in a certain extent. Now we should all look head, the efforts and fund of the protection of endangered species to save its date, such as the imagines, genome data and so on, and research on it why extinction. In sum, in history`s river, the extinction of species give us a hint about human existence is the result of natural processes. So we can not violate the nature`s law. We can only continuous study to the endangered species to avoid the human to be eliminated when face change of environment.
