Nowadays, with the rapid development of the economy people become richer and richer. people from different places could get together all over the world. Thus, language play a very important role. In my opinion, dialects will not accept in Public Places. My reason as following: for one hand, as we all know, English is the most popular language in the world. Wherever you go you could use it. But on the contrary, your home town dialect will not be understood by other people from a different country. If a Chinese go to Korean have a trip. He want to buy commodity from the local place. However he cannot speak Korean and could only speak Chinese. So the salespeople will not understand what he say or what he want. For the other hand, As I live in Guangzhou, but I not a native, I come from HuNan Province. So I cannot speak Cantonese. If I use my home town dialect talking with the native, they will not understand what I say. Thus I must speak mandarin, the common Chinese. In sum, from my point of view, I will not agree with this opinion, while dialects shouldn't be used in Public Places. In the Public Places we should speak the common language, and help the person cannot speak it.
