Task Direction:
You will have a choice between two Issue topics. Each topic will appear as a brief quotation that states or implies an issue of general interest. Read each topic carefully; then decide on which topic you could write a more effective and well-reasoned response.
You will have 45 minutes to plan and compose a response that presents your perspective on the topic you select. A response on any other topic will receive a zero. You are free to accept, reject, or qualify the claim made in the topic you selected, as long as the ideas you present are clearly relevant to the topic. Support your views with reasons and examples drawn from such areas as your reading, experience, observations, or academic studies.
GRE readers who are college and university faculty will read your response and evaluate its overall quality, based on how well you do the following
consider the complexities and implications of the issue
organize, develop, and express your ideas on the issue
support your ideas with relevant reasons and examples
control the elements of standard written English.
You may want to take a few minutes to think about the issue and to plan a response before you begin writing. Be sure to develop your ideas fully and organize them coherently, but leave time to reread what you have written and make any revisions that you think are necessary.
Section Direction:

Question: "It is often necessary, even desirable, for political leaders to withhold information from the public."
作者词汇基础扎实;上下文衔接稍显不流畅;采用了一些简单的从句。
In recent years, more and more people are concerned the problem of information of openly and transparently. My opinion is that must be opened the informations of closely related to people`s live-hood, and involved to the informations of military and scientific research must be kept secret. To bloster my stance, I will explore the issue as the following. First of all, it must be opened with regard to the informations of close to be linked people`s live. For example, the expenditure of the affordable housing project is how to use? How much money is spent each time? Where does these money spend? Whether it is reasonable? These problems need to anwser through the openly and transparently informations. To do so, but also can effectively prevent to the occurrence of the corruption and bribery. Next, under certain particular situation, to seal some special information is necessary and sensible. For instance, if the information of deployment of troops to be disclosed, other countries can attack the place of less troops to achieve the panic aim, even overthrow the government. And some information`s meaning is ambiguous or easy to mislead the people, it can not be disclosed. In sum, nothing is as simple as it seems. The public information, some look very troublesome, some look very simple, they are involved in all aspects of the country. So I should point out that the political leaders to withhold information from the public depends on whether doing so benefits the public.
