There is no denying the fact that the price of gasoline and electricity has become the utmost concern among people in recent days. As to me, my opinion is the government can slightly mobilize the price of gasoline and electricity, under the premise of the economic laws in line with normal market. To bolster my stance, I will explore the point as follows. First of all, it is determined by market the price of gasoline and electricity. We can not force will set the price too high or too low. Too high price will lead to people can not afford to the cost of the necessities for life, then lead to society instability. Too low price will make the result of a few people hoard the commodity by reality low price, then the commodity can alter the scarce resources, and these people sell the goods in high price, the normal market will fulfill the chaos. So the government can not force set the price of gasoline and electricity. Next, the government can slightly adjust the price in a certain extent. The biggest consumer of gasoline and electricity is not ordinary people, rather than the factory, the hospital, the school and so on. The government can make a rule of price. The rule is that the price is low in a certain consumption, and exceed this consumption, the price will be adjusted to high. Like this, can avoid waste of resources. In sum, the government is not the price maker, rather than the regulator. It is the responsibility of the government that to make people`s life better under the normal market laws.
