In my opinion,private car owners should be taxed for pollution,because I think it is an effective way to control the number of cars and reduce pollution in the city. As we all know,the car pollution is almost caused by two reasons.One is the increasing amount of private car.The more cars we have,the more pollution we will produce.So the first thing we have to do is to limit the amount of cars.However,with the development of economy,more and more people are dying for car.I believe that people's purchase intention will be affected in some extent because of the car tax.Another is the technology problem.If we can improve our auto production technology ,we can reduce the car pollution.But we need money to promote the technology,thus,car tax can provide some capital except the government support. As far as I am concerned,with the development of technology and economy,environmental pollution will be solved.As we learned from the text,the problems technology has created,technology can solve.
