Should Private Car owners Be Taxed For Pollution? Recently government agencies in some big cities have been studying the possibility of putting a "pollution tax" on the private car. This debate is brought to people's attention. The opinion about it vary from person to person. Some people think it shouldn't be taxed while some people think it should be taxed. From my point of view, private car owners should be taxed for pollution. In the first place, it can decrease the pollution if the people pay for the tax. Because people would go to work by bus or bike rather than drive the private car. In the second place, it can make street not crowded. Then, in the street, people's life is security than before. Because the cars are not more than before in the street. Finally, people can build a good body. On account of paying for the tax, the drivers would be decrease. In addition, they would go to work on foot or ride a bike. In a word, I think private car owners should be taxed. It is a good for our environment. Because it can reduce the pollution of the car. Only if people do it, our life and our environment will be better.
