Nowadays,with the develop of economy,more and more people buy a car.they go to work or anywhere they want by driving their cars instead of by public buses.There is no doubt that private cars is convenient ,but every coin has two sides,at the same it all cause a lot of air pollution .So recently the government agencies of some big cities have been taking account of the possibility of putting a pollution tax on private cars. The amount of private car owners would depend on the emission levels, i.e. engine or vehicle size. This has caused quite a stir among the public. Quite a few hold that is an effective way to control of the number of cars and reduce pollution in the city. But others ,in contrast ,they don`t think it is effective and that is also my point.There are numerous reasons why putting a ollution tax on private cars is not an effective way,and i would explore only a few of the most important ones here. The main reason is that it may not unfair for the owners of private cars.There is a lot of reason to lead to the air pollution,such as factories often release something that are bad for the condition of air.There is another factor that deserves our attention.As well known,public buses is very crowded and is wast time,especially when you are busy.That is the most important reason that a lot of people choose to buy cars.I think it much more better that the government agencies increase more buses instead of putting pollution tax TO sum up,I firmly believe in that is no function to decline air pollution by putting pollution tax,because it is not the basic reason of air pollution.
