will phones kill letter writing？this topic has caused a heated discussion among the society as the increasing people choose phones to communicate with others in distant rather than writing letters in modern society. some people think that phones will replace letters since it more effective and convenient to communicate with others while others hold the opposite idea. as far as i am concerned, writing letters will never be abandoned by people in nowadays because it has some unique advantages in safety and expressing men's affection over phones. letter writing will not be killed. firstly, letter is more secret and safe than phone. it is common believed that the characters are more believable than words. so in some formal occasion, for instance staff in company are asked to use letters to talk about business and officials also choose letters to keep touch with their colleagues in most time.secondly,most people would rather express their feelings and affections in writing than speak directly using phones. when we feel happy or upset and want to others known,we will choose writing letters first cause it is hard to tell others sometime and it is more comfortable for us to write in a letter. especially on occasion that we want to express our love to people, so that is why the love letters are so popular. what's more, writing letters is a more decline way to refuse others i think. in conclusion ,letter writing has its own advantages in communication safety and expressing feelings than phones.so i think it never be replaced by phones.
