“You are too old to get a degree"-it commons for many adults, especially for old people, to gain from others when they decide to get a degree, however, in my opinion, this view is absolutely ridiculous and ignorance and it is not be too old to get a degree. There are some reasons being followed my views. On the one hand, studying is a process and doesn't exist a destination, so if someone have a desire to study, including those who hope to get a degree, it never be late. There are plenty of celebrities insisting on studying when they were old and gaining achievements eventually in China's history. Du Fu, a famous poet in Tang Destiny, is a model for those being mocked they are too old to get degrees, Du Fu met a lot of frustration,including struggling to survive in the war and being segregated with his family, however,he never gave up his studying and his poems were famous in all country after he was 50 years old. On the other hand, everyone has his own privilege to pursue his dreams and there is not existing confinement, the age is included, to pursue one's dreams, so if get a degree is one of one's dreams, the age is not the block.One of my neighbors, Miss Liu, who is 65 years old now, she was so needy and poverty when she was young that had no opportunity to go to school, and studying in the university is one of her dreams after she grew up, she, eventually, with the supports of her son, went to university when she was 59 years old and thanks for her endeavors, she got a degree four years later. Admittedly, the adults , compared with the youth and children, are not easy to absorb in new knowledge because they may be with slower thoughts and confusion,however,if they can try their best to study and be indifferent to others doubts, they may get the chance to get a degree. To conclude, it is not be too old to get a degree.
