I agree with the statement that higher education should be open to everyone,regardless of background. The first reason is that everyone in this world should have an equal right to do something.And of course,education is one of the right that everyone should be given.No one has the privilege to disfranchise others’ right. The second reason can be considered that highly educated citizens can do good to a country's prosper.When everyone have access to higher education,the country will be filled by a large group of high-qulity persons which can provide a considerable amount of wealth to it.And then,people can enjoy a cozy life. If the government only allow the elite students to have access to higher education,the country will full of worker who can only do some simple jobs.Thus can result a negative effect on domestic economy. And the power of the country will be weaken. So,I choose the statement that higher education should be open to everyone.
