Along with the development of the society, there is a growing tendency for most people to be a volunteer to help those in needs. It is reported that china now has 4.5 million registered volunteers who have provided more than 4.5 billion hours of volunteer work. It is no denying the fact that voluntary service has many benefits for both society and volunteers. as for me, I get more opportunities to apply the theory to practice and a sense of fulfillment as well during the voluntary service. Firstly, doing volunteering can improve my practical skills. There are variety of problems I would face when I help others and to deal with that, I must try my full effort to apply what I have learnt in school .so it is a effective way to promote my practical ability. Moreover, the experience I have gained in voluntary also make a positive influence on my study in class. Secondly, I would feel great sense of achievement when I give a favor to weak people. I always be proud of myself after help others and feel so happy to hear "thank you" from people. Doing voluntary service make me think i am a good person to the society. All in all, I gain a lot apart from experience and fulfillment as a volunteer. What is the most important thing is being a volunteer can make a good example for others to do it together and with an increasing number of volunteers mushroom, our world is becoming a better place for all people to live in.
