A great number of people are keen on western festivals that catch even more attention than festivals in china.People,especially the youth,are investing more and more time and energy to them. In my opinion,there are tow reasons accounting for such phenomenon.To begin with,people regard celebrating western festivals as a fashion.If they can not follow the trend to celebrate these festivals,they think they are left behind by the developing world,which is considered as a shame.Then,the developing society and the quick tempo of the life press the poeple,so they need more entertainments to relax themselves. The western festivals give them excuse and chance to release their pressures. Such phenomenon have both negative and positive influences.It benefits the development of consumption .However,it also cause the lost of traditional culture.
