A century ago, some people believed that humankind would have made progresses in every respect in our life by 2014. Over time, 100 years passed , it goes without saying that both positive trend and negative trend exist. Follows are some examples for both . Firstly, people achieved adorable developments in areas related to medicine, science and technology . Comparing with 100 years ago , now we live a much more convenient and efficient life and the length of our life has been expanded. In addition, thanks to the popularity of internet technology, people now can get connect to each other in a new fast way. As a result, the quality of lives has been upgraded. In conclusion, both developments and negative changes have happened in last century. To make our life better, people should keep the positive ones and figure out measures to solve the problems.
