Progress comes at a price. These years human beings have witnessed the rapid development of economy and its negative effects on the environments, which may lead extinction to some plants and animals. Some people are arguing about if it's too late to do anything to improve this situation. In my view, being late is better than never. Nowadays, some natural resources are being run out. In addition, the waste materials are doing a lot of harm to the earth and killing thousands of plants and animals every day and have caused various of environment problems. For example, last year, due to dust pollution, most of big cities in China have been in haze for more than half a year, which even influenced its neighbouring countries. However, the seriousness of the factors is not the reason of doing nothing to solve the problems. On the contrary, we have to figure out measurements to build a true environment-friendly community immediately. At least, we can form some good habitats to help, like using public transports instead of driving private cars and stop using one-time tablewares. What's more, we should make full use of the renewable source of energy, such as solar energy, hydroenergy and wind energy. In conclusion, I believe, if we always keep protecting environment in mind and make efforts for it, the environment will recovery someday.
