There is an old Chinese saying"It's better to travel 10,000 miles than to read 10,000 books".Apparently,it implys us to read more as well as to travel more.However,which one is more vital for us is one of the heatest discussions in our daily life. In my opinion,reading more is more essential than traveling more,and the reasons are as follows.For one thing,traveling is sort of costly for many people,while reading is a common behaviour so that it is much easier for us to complete.For another,reading is the basis of traveling.Without reading,traveling is just like a surfing boat without destination.Lots of knowledge and scenery will be missed on our journey. Thus,only when we read more,can we go onto the path to success.
