With the globalization of China,English is more and more prevalent in Chinese students.Correspondingly,less people attach importance in Chinese learning. As is summarized ,this phenomenon appears attributes to two main reasons .Firstly,the blind adoration at English,or more widely, foreign cultures among students has been more common than before.No matter male students or female students,everyone believes that speaking English in public suggests that he or she is an elegant and well-educated person.Moreover,it appears that students at this age are not interested in Chinese traditional culture,include Chinese language. As a result,Chinese language learning is ignored by most students.If this sort of condition is not limited,Chinese culture which is involved in Chinese language would disappear gradually in the near future. As far as i am concerned,measures that could block this circumstance must be taken.On one hand ,Chinese language learning and speaking has to be promoted and encouraged from junior school to colleges.On the other,weights and importance of English examination should be reduced.Overall,we young generation must not forget our mother language and locate it at the most significant place of all languages in the world.
