Can Ads bring positive effects for daily life? For more than a decade the issue has divided the public, and even today it still sparks bitter controversy among the whole society. Some people say that plenty of evidence has proved Ads contribute the development of commodity market. It is undeniable that a good advertising’s ability of attracting customers and increase sales. In addition, adverting can provide more opportunities for people to satisfy the needs of customers and lead the trend. Meanwhile, advertisings also boost competition between manufactures, hereby, most price is reasonable instead of monopoly. Yet, some people believe that the public's life is on the brink of collapse due to advertisings. Initially, advertisings interrupt most of TV programs when people sit in front of screens, which lead TV audiences to detest these episodes so that they change channels all the time. Furthermore, most advertising always contain exaggerative and false elements to attract more people. Finally, some ads also appeal the public to pursue a comfortable, luxury, and comparison life, which is not only increasing the financial burden of family but also spreading social unhealthy tendency. In sum, personally, my view is that ads bring us many effects which are visual arts, including the novel innovative designs and background music, although there are several shortages. I believe that the government has the right to set down relevant laws to supervise advertisings to maintain harmonious society and the public should also select valuable ads rationally. Only through this way can ads enrich our life.
