due attention should be given to the study of chinese in recent years,it has happened that students who from young pupil to past-graduate students are regardless of study of chinese among these students.they are lean to spend more time to study english. why occurs this phenomenon?when china join in wto organization,it decides we must study international language to talk with foreigners.whatever we go abroad or aliens go our homeland.now world is a opening each other to every countries.so learn a non-homeland language is inevitabley.but our school even put the foreign language on equal to our home tongue,it leads to our take more time to study in english ,and no more time to study chinese and correlate to chinese history.we couldn't forget our history and linguistic ,they are our symbol of china. so in my view,learning english is necessary,but it must have a premise what you must study better chinese.and i hope our education department give english a right location.
