Nowadays,there are some students who devoted all his attention to the second language such as English.Which has aroused heated discussion in that they had neglected their native language and that's not the real intention to learn language.I think some reasons should be taken into consideration. In the first place,some of us were effected by the education.We are always be told that we should speak the foreign language in our free time so take it for granted that the foreign language is more important than our native native language.Furthermore,along with the step of globalization,students are assess to all kinds of fashion including a foreign language so they prefer to expose it rather than learn Chinese.Last but not least,the main aim to learn language is to communicate.If we give up learning Chinese,it could diminish our ability to talk. In my opinion,due attention should be given to the study of Chinese and students should keep a balance between a new language and our native language and just take language as a tool to communicate with others or Chinese people may lose their cultural identity in such a competitive world.
