Recently, people are talking about whether females should be participate in policy area or military area, such as the army. Some people support woman do whatever they want while others don't think so. From my point of view, in many ways, women are different from man but their opportunity to join the army and their influence in different areas, including policy area, should be respected. On the one hand, it goes without saying that man and woman are different in many ways, that's why people thought some jobs are more suitable for one specific gender. In particularly, war sounds too violent and dangerous for women, who are always thought to be silent, tender and weak. As far as I see, women are expected to be housewives, who have a stable job so she can finish all the housework and take good care of her children. On the other hand, however, today, thanks to the equal opportunity to receive education and the improvement of food, most women are much more independent, brave, adaptable and stronger than people thought. In many case, women can do better than man if given chance. What's more, joining the army doesn't mean that they are really going to go to the battlefield to kill people like men, because there are various of jobs in the army that are suitable for women, such as cook, clerk, reporter. In conclusion, women have the capability and should be allowed to join in the army or any other fields. Women's potential and freedom should not be limited in the name of protection. And also, no one should be doubted because of gender.
