Is It the Only Way to Solve Traffic Problem? I am totally disagree with the idea of reducing the necessary travel is the only way to decrease the traffic problem of city. The reason are as follows. On the one hand, it is not realistic to only rely on reducing the necessary of travel such as go to work, education and shopping and so on. As a human of society, we need to go to work, go to school, and go shopping. We can take other ways to do these things, such as ride bike or walk, but we can not reduce the travel of necessary things. On the other hand, the traffic problem can not be solved only by one way. There are many measures to solve it. For example, we can always take bus instead of driving car. Besides, we can make some policies to limit the car-driving abstractly, such as limiting number, which can reduce the cars on the way. To sum up, I don’t agree that reducing the necessary travel is the only way to decrease the traffic problem. There are many more efficient way to solve it.
