A great number of uninversities are intended to rank,according to different standards.Some of them are ranked by the students' graduation rate,some of them just compete with each others on the resources they own.Such phenomenon cause a heat debeat about the view on university ranking. Some people hold a possitive attitude toward the ranking.On one hand,they think it a good way to promote uninversities to make progress under the fierce competiton.And universities will spare no effort to improve their teaching quality,which finally benefits the students.On the other hand,the university ranking shows the position of these campus,giving students an obvious signals to choose a suitable school they really want.However,there still a certain number of opponents to this phenomenon.To begin with,they don not it a wise decision to divide the school into different levels with the thought that various universities have diverse advantages and no standard can be exectly right.What is worse,an exaggregate ranking are harmful to students who fail to be accepted by their dreaming university and increase the pressure on the students. In my eye,I support the fommer opinian.University ranking are able to offer incentives both to schools and students.
