With the development of economy and technology, the quality of life is improved now. However, more and more people pay attention to healthy and environment problems because of the environmental destruction. Following are some good methods we can do in our daily life, which are beneficial to reduce the water pollution. First of all, it is everyone that should have their own water bottles. If we can do that, the number of packaged water will decrease. This operation has two advantages: on the one hand, you contribute to environmental protection by reducing the use of plastic bottles; on the other hand, you can save your money. Secondly we can use the environmentally friendly household products as far as possible. For example, we can wash our clothes by non-phosphate laundry powder, which can cut down the water consumption. It is also a nice idea to make a form to measure usage of water and try your best to decrease water consumption for washing. Third, ban throwing the rubbish into streams, lakes, rivers, or seas. It is not only hard for cleaners to salvage little, but also dreadful for the fish. The fish will become toxic even dead because of polluted water. If people drink the dirty water or eat the toxic fish, we will feel bad even had a serious disease. If we do those things as far as possible, we can save energy and reduce water pollution. All in all, we should pay more attention to our behaviours and start practicing to reduce water pollution. What is more, everyone can do something for our environment. As college students, we should build the sense of frugality in our daily life. As far as I am concerned, only if we really take the actions, can we protect our homeland.
