Nowadays, it already has not been a new phenomenon for development of distance education and modern streaming media technique will be a good tool for this. However, it still sparks bitter controversy among the whole society. It is undeniable that modern education can provide much more equal rights for students receive knowledge. That is to say, students coming from remote areas also have the same right to learn and interactive with professors by computers. Furthermore, this teaching method is convenient for students. For example, students can operate the speed of teaching accord to their levels rather than obey the teachers' arrangements. Yet there is still a dark side in this picture. Due to lack of supervision and consciousness, students may only consider how to finish this course to get qualifications in a high speed rather than concentrate in listening. In addition, the meaning of education is not only imparting knowledge but also cultivating students' social responsibility and relationship, but, which is cannot be given by education distance. Finally, under this mechanism, the high education becomes commercial competitions among teachers. Some teachers preach up their academic achievements by mass media to mislead plenty of unwitting students to achieve their commercial aims. Personally, my view is that though there are several shortages, education distance, as a result of development of modern technology, is beneficial many people, especially for some people who have not admitted to the University but realize the importance of knowledge. Therefore, we should hold an enlightened attitude for this rather than repudiate.
