Some people think that the government should establish free libraries in each town. Others, however, believe that it is a waste of money since the public can use the Internet at home to obtain information. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

Today we are losing the habit of reading and embracing the internet life. Whereas some argue that reading on line would never bring the reader the same experience as reading a book. Such as focusing longer, no harm to eyes, easily make a note, less distracted. So in this essay I'd like to discuss the necessity of establishing a library. We can get access to various informations easily and quickly by Internet, simply by tabbing and clicking. Besides, information is spreading more effectively and economically through Internet compared with books. Thus more forests can be saved, as well as individual expenditure and public funds. More and more bookshops are shutting down, indicating that readers is declining. They are more likely to spend that time and money toward the Internet. What's more, it cost high to set up a library in each town in terms of bearing the cost of stuff, renting or other costs, than to buy in the on-line services of libraries existed. But setting up a library is something that can be done in some ways. Reading should be encouraged among children, reading a book can promote their literacy and keep them away from the PC games. For adults, reading can be a really leisure activity that can ease their nerves from the hustle and bustle of daily life and bring back peace and health. Residents could be encouraged to donate their books to this library, and calling on volunteers to run the library to cut the costs. After all, it is not a bad thing to have a library in each town for relaxiation and communication and helping our kids' development. Depending on public opinions, we can have a talk on whether it is practicable to build a library in our town. I think the public will give the most suitable plan. If I'am one of the residents, I will definitely support the library building.
