It seems to be an increasingly issue that whether or not we should always be polite to strangers. Some people think there is no need to be polite to other people, whereas some hold objective thoughts. In my opinion, it is essential for us to be polite to other people we met in daily life with no excuses. First of all, to be impolite to strangers will not bring you any benefits but harm instead. Suppose that somebody carelessly breaks your favorite cup which was made by your girlfriend; if you show tremendous anger towards this person, it is possible that this person will stay away from you because of your personality which alienates others. This is what we do not want to happen, especially when joining enterprises to cooperate with others. Conversely, being polite is appropriate and helps in a smooth career development. For example, one of my best friends, Whang Yi, has worked in a global corporation for a long time, treating his colleagues in a friendly and polite manner. Because of this and his charisma, he often wins opportunities to go abroad. In addition, politeness boosts interpersonal communication. My elder brother, for instance, usually expresses great respect to his friends and even invites some of them for dinner. Gradually, current international affairs become their one of their popular topics, and successfully help established excellent relationship between them. Conclusively, wherever you are and whoever you meet, being polite constantly to others is an extremely fundamental way to your personal development, indicative of no reasons you may come up with to be impolite to others.
