with the development of the industory, increasing problems have shown up, including the decrease of animal species and global warming. facing these environmental isuses, some people deal with them with an optimistic attitude that they believe people can handle the situation and make a difference, but some people not. this essay will discuss these two views and make a stand. some people hold an opinion that the negative effects of human activities on the environment, like the industry pollution, cannot be diminished, and they believe that the balance of the nature has been damaged, which is too serious to fix up in one or two generations. it is too late for human to take measures. take the global warming as an example, the theory was put forward by experts in the 1990s, but it is only noted in recent years. although governments all over the world got together and discussed the solution of the climate change more than once, there is no one realistic plan on how to sovle the issuse effectively. some governments abolished their plans and broke their promises made in these conference. the achievement on the sloving environment problems is limited. however, the efforts people are making should not be ingnored. for example, an increasing number of NGOs which focus on the environment protecting and problem solving, are emerging. moreover, the idea of protecting the environment and save the energy gradually become common sense. the power of technology should be paid a high attention to. after all, the development cuases the problem and it aslo the key leading human to a health world. in my opinion, environment issues are urgent and if we can take action immediately we can make a difference to the situation. for individuals, they can take the public transportantion rather than drive cars, and they can go to work on thier feet and by bike, which is good to their own health and the earth. for the government and officals, they can develop some green energy, such as wind power and solar power. in a word , if everyone make a contribution to protecting the environment and consider their own interests lessly, we can improve the situation, and make a bright future.
