In the past 100 years, we have made continious progress in all areas of life. With the rapid development of science and technology, in most areas, the world is becoming smaller and connected. People can travel to another country within one day and they can also talk to each other instantly face to face on the phone or by Skype or QQ on internet. Business and education is also internationalized, for people can invest or receive education in a foreign country. So the world is connected and so do the people on the earth. But in some areas, environment, food security, race and religious conflicts, there are still a lot of problems that needed to be monitored and solved. The global climate is getting warmer and warmer and some species have extinct so forth, and air is also dramatically polluted and people are easy to be affected respiratory diseases. Some species start to disappear from the earth. People have polluted food and this cause health problems for the human being. So it is a great headache for most nations have always been trapped into a dilemma between economic development and ecological balance.
