Being a contraversial issue, the importance of college years to a person is highly debatable. From my own perspective, the college years are the best time in a person's life. People choose their majors in colleges in order to learn the knowledge that is useful to the area they work at in the future. Students have already learned the basic knowledges in the past 12 years, they can seek higher level knowledge during the colledge years. Besides, they can learn how to aplly those professional knowledge in their work. Also, colleges apeal the best professors from all over the world, students can enjoy the highest education quality in the colleges. Secondly, college years are the best time to store human resources. College students have their own mind and they will enter in the society soon. The friendship they build with other schoolmates at this period is more likely to remain in the future compare with those friends that made before they mature.For instance, if one made a friend in the last years of middle school, after 4 years, A is going to accept higher education while B is going to be a waiter, in that kind of situation,it's hard for A and B to develop many topics because of the circumstance they stay in are totally different, and this may affect their friendship negatively. By contrast, a college friend has many common language with you and will enter in a similar level in the society, what you can gain from him or she are not only the friendship but also some potential benefits, like give some help in business. From the analysis above, college years are the most significant years in one person's life span.
