Today, news industry is becoming incresingly well-developed. News papers and TV stations have a variety of sources to get the latest information from all over the world, They also have a plenty of ways to spread news to the public. It seems that we are surrounded by the news all the time. However, we need to notice that news generated by news papers and TV can rarely attract people's attentation today. Someone complained that the news is not as useful or attractive as it used to be, some of them even refused to watch them any more for it is a complete waste of time. From my prospective, I don't agree with the above mentioned viewpoint. Because the primiary goal of news industry is to attract public's attention. However, with the development of communication technology, more and more information is being sent to editors which increases the workload of them to distinguish good information from bad ones and leads to the generation of poor quality news. In the same time, people's apetite is becoming more and more diverse, they need more suprising news rather than ordinary one which inevitabely increases the contradiction between readers and editors. One way, in my opinion, to solve this situation is to devide the focus of news, and let the right topics delivered to right people. Therefore, requiment can be satisfied more properly.
