No one denies that the government should support the development of the economy and politics but it is really in heated dissucssion on whether the government has the responsibility to give financial support on art. For this issue, I hold that it is the administration's obligation to fund it. To start with, financial support on either sicentific research or the social service can do good to the improvement of people's life quality, such as the the fileds in technology, education, medical servicea and so on. Hoewever, these can only meet the material needs of the citizens. In this case, the money for art is a good way to rich people's spiritual life. Furthermore, there are many reasons for the financial support for the artist. Firs of all, while people's needs are multi-leveled, art used to be and is still one excellent way to express our thought and emotion. To be specific, art existed from the very ancient society and the failure of the culture to be active would cause the death of thought,which would directly lead to the slow development of the technology and economy. This is quite disastrous as we all know that the highly civilized society always goes with the prosperous culture and art. What's more, all the art and culture has their own regional character, so they are usually a bandage for the state union. Last but not the least, art can provide us a delicate and multiple angle to view the world as well as fostering us the capability to creat and inniate. All in all, the government should both invest in the social fundamental service and pay financial support to art. As only in this case, can a healthy and lively society be founded. Therefore, we citizens shall live happily and peacefully.
