第二段：社会服务当然可以明显地提高人民的生活水平，如教育，医疗，环境或基础建设。但是这些并不会增加人民的幸福感受

Sometimes, people are very realisitc in terms of status of living, exspecially regarding the government investment. Some people insist that government should only be spent money on areas that are directly related to people's physical life, such as infrastructure, madication, military and so on,while others believe that money should also be spent on arts to maintain the spritual wellness of society. There is no denial that arts like painting and music is not directly related to poeple's physical life. However, they do play a important role in the the development of civilization and greatly improves our everyday life. Nowdays, One can hardly imagine a world without color. And it is difficult to define what is a radio if it contains no music. A TV set is not likely to be invented if there is no painting. Arts may make a society operates in a harmony way, as a matter of fact, a great civilizaiton is usually be remebered because of its brillient arts. In the light of this, I completely disgree with the viewpoint that government should invest on areas that is directly related to poeple's life. Art is also as important as the other areas.
