With the development of the society, there are many alternatives not only individuals but also focus on the world. As for me, being able to promote the quality of one's life rather than improve the world is even more important than it ever was in the past. First of all, nowadays people prefer to devote their time to raise income. To elaborate, if people want to buy a house, they have to work hard in 20 years. The point is that each people should not only pay much attention to their parents but also concern their children. Obviously, it is a big spending for people. Therefore, people have not enough time to boost the world. My brother, for instance, After graduated he is a merchant in Beijing. In order to buy own home living with his wife, he give up his dream about being a scientist that contribute to the world. Eventually, devoting his life in various products is a lifelong process due to high salary. If he had been a scientist instead of merchant, he could not have earned enough money. Another reason why I think people are not willing to do much more efforts for the world is self-centered. It is said that unlike many years ago people lived together to hunt. Nowadays it is people that have power to achieve their goals on their own. So without so-called fair in the tribe people usually much more concern themselves instead of the world. Also, It is reported in the newspaper that more and more companies produce fake capsule in order to reduce cost. The more products produced, the more people diseased. Obviously, these actions have damage about the world. Thus, not many people usually think about the development of society. To sum up, compared with many years ago, people usually think about how to boost their lives rather than impetus the world. That is because as a duty for people to stimulate the development of society for people is much less important now than in the past.
