Dear David, I am so happy to hear that you will learn Chinese from your letter. I will introduce some ways below. Firstly, you need to improve your listening in order to understand what people says, so you can listen the text by MP3. There are a lot of listening materails on the internet, you can choose one topic which you like. Secondly, you can communicate with the other people ,the more spoken, the better improvement. you aslo read some texts and do your best to remember them. The last one but it is also important that you can watch movies,sing Chinese song, do anything to improve your listening and spoken. I hope you have a big improvement on learning Chines.
