Not enough students choose science subjects in university in many countries. What're the reasons for this problem?What're the effects on the society?

有关科目设置的题基本上都是有关中小学的，如science 对比arts, 而关于大学的题目主要是讨论理论课和专业课的侧重问题，从这一点来说，这是一道新题。回答这道题首先要明确一点：不选择science的学生都转向哪里了?近年大学比较流行的专业有business, accounting, economics, nursing, computer science, communication, education. 第二点，science到底指什么?它指的是physics, chemistry, biology

Nowadays a lot of undergraduates begin to turn to choose some popular subjects such as the business, architecture and so on instead of those science subjects which include the pathology, ecology,physiology,physics and other diverse courses under their parents pressure or by themselves.And the universities and colleges around the world have seen this phenomenon for decades.Why does this happen? The most important influential element is the thought whether I can get enough profit after graduating.Most of people still focus on their individual benefit neglecting to provide the interest of our whole human. As we can see,the science can help our whole society develop,and only in that case,the business or other popular subjects can be profitable.Why is that?The reason is that the science is the infrastructure,the fundamental knowledge.Only when the science develops,we can grasp more knowledge about the world as well as ourselves and understand them deeply. So in my opinion,the government should encourage people give their lives to develop the science.
