There are two kinds of snap judgments in the world. One is rush decisions made in a second without thoughtful thinkings about every aspects of it. The other one, on the other hand, needs instinct reactions to make accurate decisions when it comes to life issues, such as the doctors in the surgeries. Both judgments are snap and made in a very second, but the situations are not the same. So I disagree with the statement that snap judgments can never be trusted. Some decisions need to be made in a second. When it comes to married, divorce, death, we can hardly see every aspects of it. If we were forced to examine every aspects of the issue, the result may be devastating and heartbreaking. We are not strong enough to bear the pain of losing someone we deeply love and accept the fact that they are leaving us. So this kind of decisions have to be made in a second. And decisions made quickly may save lives. Doctors working ing the surgery department experience this very well. When patients are sent to the hospital demanding a surgery, doctors normally have little time to examine the details and histories of this patient before they head to the emergency rooms. They have little time to make their judgments then they have to deicide before the life is fading. At that moment, doctors make decisions base on their former history,knowledge and experience to make a judgement. Most of the time, these snap judgments save lives. Both judgments can be divided into two kinds. We praise people's kindness of saving people's lives, and we feel grateful for their snap but accurate judgments even more.
