The first of all,even though the letter is slower than the phone,but it is more cheap,secondly,letter writing is more good at express,when we talking in the phone,we are difficult to clearly express with some emotion,but we can through the letter expresstion,it can increase affection for each other,and it can reserve as a commemoration,but the phone can't,thirdly,it can easier reserve information,sometimes the phone will cause some faults,the information would lose,but it can't. To sum up,whether the phone or letter,they wouldn't replace each other,for they are both have some benefits,which is better,it depends a personal love
