TV set is truly a rarity in the 80s, 20th centrary, but it is now a common appliance in family. We all have experience on watching a popular TV program with our family. It is hardly for us to tell how much time we have spent on watching the TV. And we never able to watch all the programs broadcasted by every TV station now, for there are hundreds of them. For children, the Television has some misterious attraction to them, for the vivid pictures fulfills their curiosity on outside world. Some children even addictied to TV all day long. This bring about a lot of concern from adults, because such behaviour may harm child's eye sight, and greatly reduce the amount of sports which is good for the physical condition. Too much TV watching also occupies children's time to talk with their family and friends which may exert a negtive impact on the ablilty of socializing. Some program advocate violence is also a threat to the metal fitness. However, a moderate TV watching do exert positive effect on children. Because, they may learn knowledge from TV programs which expands their horizon and stimulate their interest on exploring the world. TV programs also add color to child's extra corriculum activities. In my point of view, if children watch TV in a orderly manner and the TV program is suitable for them, TV can do more good than harm to children.
