We have an old music instrument, an antique clavichord bought by my grandfather which was made in Germany in 1681. It had been long kept carefully in the living-room before it suffered a misfortune because an old lady did something really crazy to it. She tried to play jazz on it! She struck the keys too hard and two of the strings were broken. My father was shocked, shouting at her:”What the hell are you doing! I can’t believe it! It’s horrible. Get out of my apartment!” She innocently said: “What’s the matter with you? Take it easy! The Jazz is wonderful!” “Go to hell!” My father shouted, “I mean what I say. Well, you can do what you like, but not with the precious clavichord. Get out of my apartment! I don’t want to see you any more!” After the unpleasant quarrel, we have been not allowed to touch the clavichord since then. Now it is being repaired by a friend of my father’s.
