I have done a survey about the purpose of parents sending their children to school and the knowledge what students want to learn from school. The statistic revealed that almost of the parents thought the degree will benefit their children in career path because the high degree also lead to high quality employment nowadays. And the answer of most of the students is the same as these parents’. Some of them even said that they just want to get the certificate and they didn’t care about which they taught by teachers. It seems the thoughts of parents and students are true, but what they thought were wrong obviously. Even though the degree depends on your employment and the money you are paid for, the most important standard of which companies employ someone is ability. In general, almost all companies tend to rather employ a person who is full of abilities even if it only graduated from an averaged school than who is from prestigious university without the equal ability. Lots of my classmates thinks it has no difference between working hard and make it free. But a lot of facts revealed that nine times out of ten, students who worked hard in school is easier in their career path. Some of them work in an office doing the same things at nine-to-five jobs every day. However, students who studied without effort often do the different things at five-to-nine cases with lower pay. Few of students change their jobs frequently because of no ability. In conclusion, what we learn from school and the abilities of us accounting for that what kind of jobs we will get. Don’t concentrate more on enjoyment but pay little attention to study.
